Setup flow
Tags, board rows and time in status
Tags
A task can carry up to ten tags, such as frontend, needs review or client.
- Open a task and press Add tags at the top. Pick from the tags already used
in the project (most used first), or type a new one and choose Make the tag. - Click a tag again in the list to take it off.
- Each tag keeps its colour everywhere: on board cards, in lists and on the task.
- On a project board, the Tag filter (next to Assignee and Priority) shows
only the tasks with the tags you choose.
Who can tag: the people who can edit the project's tasks (its admins). Everyone
else sees the tags.
If the project is linked to GitHub, adding or removing a tag adds or removes the
matching issue label, and the other way round.
Rows on a board (swimlanes)
On a project board, open View → Rows and choose Assignee or Priority.
Each column is cut into a row per person (or per priority).
- Drag across rows and columns at once: drop a card into Maya's In progress
cell and it's assigned to Maya and in progress. - Click a row's name to fold it; the board remembers.
- Add task in a cell makes a task in that column, for that person or with
that priority. - Hide people with no tasks (or Hide empty rows) is in the same menu.
Time in status
A card that has been in its column for a day or more shows how long, such as
3d or 2w, with a small clock. After a week it turns amber, so stuck work
stands out. It counts from when the card entered its current status, not from
when the task was made. Finished and cancelled cards don't show it.
