Reports: how work is going across your projects
Reports show how work is going across the projects you're in, for the
weeks up to this one. They answer the questions a weekly review asks: what got
done, what came in, what's open and overdue, whose it is, what's urgent, and how
many hours went in. There's no dashboard to build first.
Opening reports
Open Projects and choose Reports, next to Table, Timeline, Workload and
Goals, or press Ctrl/⌘ K and choose Go to Reports. Choose how far back
to look (the last 4, 12 or 26 weeks) and which projects to count: all of them,
or only the ones you pick. Weeks start on Monday, in your own time zone.
What's in a report
- Open: every open task, and how many of them are past their due date.
- Done: the tasks finished in the weeks shown, and how many of those were
done by their due date. A task counts as on time when it's done by the end of
the day it was due. Tasks with no due date don't count either way. - Due in the next 7 days: open tasks due from today to a week from now.
- Hours logged: the time tracked on the projects' tasks in the weeks shown.
- Done and added each week: two bars a week, so you can see whether work
is coming in faster than it gets done. - Hours logged each week, when any time was tracked.
- Open work by project and by person: each as a bar split into to do,
in progress and in review, with what's overdue and what got done. Tasks
nobody has are listed as Nobody. - Open work by priority: high, medium, low and none, with what's overdue
at each.
Download CSV saves the weeks and the rows, for a spreadsheet or a slide.
What counts
- Only projects you're in, and only live ones: an archived project and a
deleted task aren't counted. - Subtasks count as tasks, as they do in the projects overview.
- A task done and then reopened counts as open.
- A cancelled task counts as added but never as done.
- Tasks assigned to an agent or another bot count in the totals, not in anyone's row.
- A project's own statuses count as the stage they belong to. A "QA" status
set up as part of review counts as in review.
Good to know
- Reports are in every edition, the free one included, from OneCamp v2.62.0
(with AI) and v1.47.0 (without AI). - A very large project's tasks are counted up to 5,000 of each kind (open, and
closed in the weeks shown), and the report says so. - See also Workload for who has how much each week, and
Goals for outcomes measured by projects.
