Deployment
Build from source
OneCamp's server is open source under AGPL-3.0, at
github.com/OneMana-Soft/OneCamp. You
can build and run it yourself, for any number of people, without a licence key.
If you would rather not build anything, the free licence
gives you the ready-made release and its one-command installer for up to 25
people, and the lifetime licence for any number.
What you need
- A Linux server with Docker, 8 GB of RAM and 40 GB of disk.
- A domain you control.
- Go 1.25 or newer, to build.
Build and install
git clone https://github.com/OneMana-Soft/OneCamp.git
cd OneCamp
scripts/package-from-source.sh ./onecamp-install
cd onecamp-install
make install EMAIL=you@example.com DOMAIN=example.com PASSWORD=<traefik-admin-password>
package-from-source.sh builds the server and lays it out exactly like the
official release, so everything in the installation guide
applies from its second step: make install generates every credential, starts
the whole stack including the web app, and prints the DNS records to create.
For the edition with no AI at all, check out the without-ai branch before
building: git checkout without-ai.
Updating
Fetch the newest release tag, build it into a new directory, copy that over your
install, and apply it:
cd OneCamp
git fetch --tags && git checkout $(git describe --tags --abbrev=0 origin/main)
scripts/package-from-source.sh ../onecamp-next
cp -a ../onecamp-next/. ../onecamp-install/
cd ../onecamp-install
make update
Your .env and data are not part of the build, so the copy leaves them alone.make update backs up first, runs the database changes and restarts the
services. For the edition with no AI, use origin/without-ai instead oforigin/main. The releases page
lists what changed.
The licence, in short
You can use, study and change OneCamp for any purpose, in a company of any
size. If you change it and let people outside your organisation use the
changed version over a network, you must offer them your changes under the
same licence. If that does not suit your company, the lifetime licence is also a
commercial licence with no AGPL obligations.
