Setup flow

Running a session on a board

Boards have three tools for running a retro, a brainstorm or a workshop. They
sit in the bar at the bottom of the board (the top on a phone). Anyone who can
edit the board can use them.

Timer

Press Timer and pick a length. Everyone on the board sees the same
countdown. You can pause it, add a minute or stop it. When it runs out, it
chimes on every screen.

Dot voting

Press Vote and choose how many votes each person gets. A dot appears on
every note and text box; click one to vote, click again to take it back. Each
person can vote for a note only once.

Votes stay hidden until you press End voting, so nobody follows the crowd.
Then every note shows its count and Results lists the leaders; click one to
jump to it. Clear the results when you're done.

Present

Press Present and everyone else on the board follows your view as you move
around. Anyone can stop following, or simply move the board themselves. Press
Follow to catch up again.

Good to know

  • The timer and votes are saved with the board, so people who join late see
them. Presenting ends when the presenter leaves.
  • Templates such as Retro and Brainstorm are under Templates, and selected
notes can become tasks with Make a task.
