Setup flow

Links that show what they point to

Paste a link to a task, a doc or a project into any message, in a channel, a
direct message or a thread, and a card appears under it showing what the link
points to.

  • A task shows its name, status, who has it, when it's due (in red when it's
    overdue) and its project.
  • A doc shows its title and the first lines.
  • A project shows its name and team.

The card is live. Change the task's status and the card says so the next time
the message is opened. Click the card to go straight there.

Who sees what

Each person sees the card as themselves. If someone in the channel can't open
the task or doc, they see the plain link and no card, so a card never shows
anyone something they couldn't already see.

Good to know

  • Up to three cards show per message.
  • Links to another OneCamp workspace stay as plain links.
  • To copy a link, open the task, doc or project and copy the address from your
    browser.
