Setup flow
Cycles
A cycle is a short, fixed stretch of work in a project, a week or two long,
like a sprint. Each task is in at most one cycle.
Start a cycle
On a project's task list, press Cycles, then New cycle. Pick the start
date and a length of one to four weeks; the name is optional and defaults to
"Cycle 1", "Cycle 2" and so on. Cycles can't overlap. A new cycle offers to
start the day the last one ends.
Put tasks in a cycle
Open a task and choose its Cycle. Only cycles that aren't complete are
offered.
Follow progress
Cycles lists every cycle with its dates, how many of its tasks are done,
and whether it's upcoming, current or ended. Click one to show only its
tasks; press the cross beside the button to show everything again. On a phone,
use the Cycle tab in the filter drawer.
Complete a cycle
When a cycle ends, open Cycles and press Complete…. Unfinished tasks
move to the next cycle, which is created, with the same length, if there isn't
one. Untick the box to take them out of cycles instead. A completed cycle keeps
how it ended: how many tasks were done and how many carried over.
Good to know
- Done and cancelled tasks count as finished; in progress and in review as started.
- Deleting a cycle leaves its tasks in the project, out of any cycle.
- The project's admins manage cycles; every member can see them.
