What's new

Side by side

  • Open channels, chats, docs, projects and tasks beside the page, up to two at once: Alt/Option-click any link, use the button on a sidebar row, or Ctrl+Alt+\ for the page you're on. Each side view can be focused (shown alone; the others keep their state), swapped with the main view, or closed. The layout is remembered per browser.
  • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt (Control+Option on a Mac) + 1/2/3 to jump between views, [ and ] for previous/next, Enter to focus, F for full screen, S to swap, W to close. ? lists every shortcut; the Ctrl/⌘+K palette has a View group. Doc heading shortcuts and AltGr typing are left alone.

Tasks and boards

  • Tags: several per task, picked from the project's tags or made new, coloured, shown on cards and rows, with a Tag filter on the board. Kept in the label (comma-separated), so the API, search and agents see them; GitHub labels sync one at a time both ways. New: GET /project/{id}/tags.
  • Swimlanes: View → Rows → Assignee or Priority. One drag changes status and person (or priority); rows fold; Add task in a row fills in its person or priority.
  • Time in status on board cards (from a day; amber from a week), from the new task_status_since, backfilled for existing tasks at start.

Lighter

  • The app keeps the 300 most recently used responses and the 8 most recently opened conversations instead of everything since the tab opened, and writes its cache down in one pass.

Fixes

  • Add task under a board column made the task in To do whatever the column.
  • Members who aren't admins saw "Not Authorised" on the team page and a project's Members panel; the Add member picker now shows only to those who may add.
  • Creating webhooks, archive runs and restores, and deleting call recordings answered 401 to everyone. Deleting a recording now needs a channel moderator (or someone in the call).
  • The project list's search box overlapped its buttons in a narrower view.
