Clients approve work or ask for changes

Clients

  • Clients approve work or ask for changes. On a project link with comments, a client presses Approve or Request changes (with a note) on a task. The verdict shows on their board and on a Client row in your task panel, and arrives as their comment so the people on the task are told.
  • Guest pages name who wrote a message. A client's or Slack-bridged message shows their name as the author instead of "Guests" with the name in brackets.

Time

  • Invoices from time. In a project's time report, Make an invoice opens the range's billable time as an invoice: hourly rate, currency, tax, one line per task or per person, your details and the client's (remembered in your browser). Print it or save it as a PDF from the browser.

Phones

  • Public pages scroll again. The app shell's page lock applied to every page, so on a phone a public form's Submit button, a booking page's later times and long shared docs were out of reach. It now applies only to the signed-in app.

Fixes

v2.48.1 with AI · v1.33.1 without AI

  • Fixes from an audit of the last three months' releases.
  • Sign in with a passkey works. The web app's own Permissions-Policy header refused passkeys, so the button did nothing. If no passkey is used, the sign-in page now says how to add one.
  • No white screen during an upgrade. A page still open from the previous build reloads into the new one instead of failing to load its scripts.
  • Deleting a doc works again (the route answered 405 to the app's request). A test now stops any create/update/delete route from being a GET.
  • Archived projects no longer appear in project pickers.
  • One set of task status names everywhere: To do, In progress, In review, Cancelled.
  • New task: created from My Tasks it is assigned to you; from a project, that project is picked; with one project, it is picked for you.
  • GIFs and Google/GitHub avatars are no longer blocked by the content security policy.
