The gaps against Linear, Asana, Slack and Notion, closed
Projects
- Cycles. Linear's sprints: one- to four-week cycles per project that never overlap, progress for each, a filter to show one cycle's tasks, and completing a cycle carries unfinished tasks into the next one (made if needed).
- Intake forms. Asana's forms: build a form (text, email, number, date, choice, checkbox), share the link with anyone, and every answer arrives as a task in the project.
Channels
- Channel guests. Slack Connect for a self-hosted workspace: invite someone from another company into one channel from a link. They need no account, read the channel and its threads, can post and reply if you allow it, and see nothing else. Their messages arrive marked as a guest's, as plain text. Guest access must be on for the workspace.
Notifications
- See a teammate's pause, and notify anyway. A DM says when the other person has paused notifications or is in quiet hours, and until when. One urgent ping a day reaches them anyway.
Fixes
v2.45.1 with AI · v1.30.1 without AI
- Email notifications are sent again. Since v2.44.0, reading notification settings in a batch failed (the read expected one setting too many), so notification emails and the daily memory digest were skipped. Push and in-app notifications were not affected. Single and batch lookups now share one reader, and a test checks it against the table.
- Forms and booking pages close with what they belong to. An intake form stops taking answers once its project is archived, and a form or booking page stops working once its owner leaves the workspace.
