Just $199, really? No per-user fees?

Yes, Conva is just $199 for every major version release. If you buy version v1, you will get free updates to v1.x.x, but updating to v2 may cost extra if you want to jump to the new version. There are no ongoing fees, monthly fees, annual fees, per-user fees, or support contracts. You don’t rent Conva like SaaS products — you buy it, and it’s yours, like a jar of peanut butter.

Does each user have to buy or download it?

Nope — one person (you, your IT person, etc.) buys it, downloads it, and installs it on a server you control. It could be a remote shared server, too. Either way, once it’s installed and running, just invite co-workers to the system and they log into it via the web or their mobile devices like any group app.

How do updates work? Do they cost extra?

We will inform via email to latest version by running a single command for backend and for frontend since its open source latest matching version with backend can be downloaded anytime. As far as cost goes, if it’s on the same root version you have — like from 1.0 to 1.1 — the update will be free. Jumping version numbers (from 1.x to 2.x, for example), may cost extra. It’ll be up to you if you want to jump versions.

Are native iOS and Android apps available?

Conva supports mobile web — either as a tab in your mobile browser, or as a PWA (Progressive Web App) which you can launch right from your mobile device’s home screen like all your other apps. And like native apps, you’ll get badges on your icon and push notifications if you’d like.

Is customer support included?

Bare bones support is included, yes. That means we’re happy to occasionally help with the basics, but we can’t troubleshoot complex custom installations, or fix stuff you broke when you changed the code. Please send feature requests to support@onemana.dev.

Can we buy one copy of Conva and run it in multiple places?

When you buy Conva, we’ll issue you a license to install it on a single domain name. If you’d like to install it on multiple servers with different domain names, you’ll need to buy separate copies per domain.

Can we white label or resell Conva?

Not currently. If interested, contact us at hi@onemana.dev and we’ll keep you in mind should we change our mind. Please be sure to review the license agreement for further details.

Can we run Conva on a shared server like DigitalOcean?

Absolutely. Wherever you can host something like WordPress, you can host Conva. Minimum 4gb RAM is required

Can we import our Slack or Teams data into Conva?

Not at this time. Conva is a fresh start.
